La musica di Gilad Atzmon va sempre più nella direzione d un ibrido culturale.
Atzmon è interessato a esplorare il significato del folk urbano, il melting pot culturale della città contemporanea. Lungo gli anni è riuscito a fondere la musica del Medio Oriente e dell'Europa dell'Est insieme a jazz e musica improvvisata contemporanea. Atzmon è convinto che se multiculturalità ha senso, allora si realizza al meglio in termini di bellezza. Atzmon come sassofonista jazz è leader mondiale.
